Walnut Arugula Pesto

Walnut Arugula Pesto


  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 2 small garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2-3 tbsp cold water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper


  1. Add all ingredients to a Nutribullet, food processor, or blender.
  2. Blend well. If you need to, turn off machine and scrap down sides. Blend more.
  3. If you want the sauce thicker, add a few more walnuts or spinach/arugula.
  4. Spread on Green Pizza, brown rice pasta, toss on veggies, or where ever else your heart desires.
