Refined Sugar-Free Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients:
- 12 oz bag fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar*
- 2 tbsp date paste*
- 1/4 tsp orange zest
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil.
- Cover and reduce to a simmer. The cranberries will begin to pop. Stay close by and stir frequently so the sauce doesn’t stick to the bottom.
- Add a splash more orange juice or water for a less thick sauce.
- Remove from heat once the sauce has reached the desired texture.
- Garnish with some orange zest.
